Ian Newman


Ian Newman, Partner of Edmonton’s Investment Sales Capital Markets Group, is a key member with the Investment Sales team providing investment sales, valuation, financial and analytical analysis expertise. He is an active member of the Partnership with over 14 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate. He recently completed his term on the firm’s three-person Advisory Committee which is tasked with managing the day to day operations of the company. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ian held the position of Sales Manager for Kraft Foods, responsible for all sales and marketing initiatives in the Northern Alberta Region. Ian has been involved in numerous investment transactions across a broad range of product types including hotels, seniors building, apartments , industrial, retail, and office buildings along with development lands. Ian provides advice and execution services to clients involving selling, investing, financing or building real estate. In his spare time, he has sat on the Planning and Development Committee with Edmonton Chamber of Commerce. He had served as Chair and Vice Chair of this committee. With his three young daughters involved in various activities, he coaches with the Warriors West Edmonton Soccer Club since 2013 to present day.
