Cushman & Wakefield Edmonton is proud to support MacEwan University and its work to develop the next generation of business leaders.

Downtown Edmonton is getting a major new landmark. Since shovels went into the ground in May 2024, MacEwan’s new School of Business building has grown from an empty lot into a seven-storey facility. It will be home to the Triffo School of Business and is set to welcome students for the Winter 2027 term. It will make room for 7,500 more students downtown.

A Named Classroom in the New Building

Our support goes beyond a donation. We have invested directly in the School of Business through a gift to its new facility, and a classroom in the building will carry Cushman & Wakefield Edmonton’s name for years to come.

Connecting Students with Commercial Real Estate

We have also worked with the University to host job fairs and connect students with careers at our firm and across the commercial real estate industry. Meeting people in the industry, building professional relationships and learning about real career paths helps close the gap between school and business.

Why It Matters to Us

Investing in future talent is an investment in the long-term strength of Edmonton’s business community. The partnership fits how our industry works. Success in commercial real estate depends on relationships, mentorship, entrepreneurship, collaboration and deep knowledge of the local market.

By supporting MacEwan’s School of Business with both funding and time spent with its students, we are helping prepare the professionals who will keep Edmonton’s business community growing.
