Doug MacKay joined Cushman & Wakefield Edmonton in 2003, became a partner in 2009 and expertly applies 15 years of commercial real estate knowledge and experience to assist local, national and international clients. With a strong dedication to teamwork and attention to detail Doug and his colleagues ensure that the firm consistently meets and exceeds customer expectations.
Over the last number of years Doug has been a perennial top performer in the Edmonton office and market sector top performer in the City of Edmonton. Doug’s accomplishments include successful industrial lease transactions in excess of 3,000,000 sf and coordinating the servicing and development and subsequent sale of 2,000 acres of industrial land. Doug has extensive experience in the planning, acquisition, sub-division, and servicing of all types of development land.
Snapshots of the outstanding transactions Doug has recently completed include: 61 Acre one million square foot buildable development site sale to Panatoni Development Corporation, 20,000 square foot lease transaction for Acklands-Grainger Inc., 149,800 sf lease to MTE Logistix, 158 Acre development land sale to Remington Developments, 110,000 sf lease transaction for Groupe Touchette Distribution, 68,000 sf. lease transaction for Titan Supply, 30,000 square foot lease transaction for GES Canada Limited, 50,000 square foot lease transaction for MDA Co-Auto, 23,600 square foot office lease for ClearStream Energy Services coupled with a 78 acre improved yard facility for ClearStream Energy Services.
