As a practicing industrial real estate broker for 10 years, Doug brings to the team his invaluable experience as a Civil Engineering Consultant. He has extensive expertise in the acquisition, planning, zoning, subdivision, and servicing of all types of development land. He has participated in the engineering design and construction of some of Edmonton’s premiere residential, commercial and industrial properties include Sunwapta Industrial, Armstrong Industrial, White Industrial and Pylypow Industrial.

Doug guides clients through all of their real estate options and multi-faceted due-diligence process. He often continues to be involved in project management all the way to moving day, piloting the client through design, architecture, engineering and permitting. He has participated in some of the most complex transactions ever completed in Edmonton’s industrial marketplace.

A Partner at Cushman & Wakefield Edmonton, Doug is also a Certified Engineering Technologist registered with the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2003, Doug worked for a number of leading civil engineering and environmental firms in Edmonton. After demonstrating excellence in real estate sales and completing a series of marketing and financing courses, Doug was designated a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute. He also holds a SIOR designation from the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors.
